EXPLORATIONS OF ICE: A Journey of Possibilities

Here we focus on creating deeper, more meaningful learning experiences by extending activities into ongoing explorations rather than one-time events. Use current observations of children's interests and naturally occurring phenomena to guide planning instead of relying on repetitive lesson plans. Collaborate with staff to brainstorm and map ideas, such as exploring the many properties of ice, and develop flexible timelines that allow investigations to unfold naturally. The goal is to stretch thinking, encourage curiosity, and create cohesive learning experiences that build upon one another.
